The mosque of Ibn Tulun was really beautiful, as was Saint Simon cave church, garbage city, city of the dead and then of course some shopping time at khan el-khalili.
The transport was also really great a/c transport, which was very welcome in the Cairo heat. Would recommend this 5 star experience to every one looking for something different than the usual tourist spots.

(So much better than the big restaurants). We Flew to Luxor and drove to Aswan to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, and Abu Simbel! The highlight of the trip was an overnight stay on a Felucca! (A sail boat the sails down the Nile.) From sleeping on the Nile to eating in a Nubian village, we did it all! Thanks to his amazing service, we could skip all the hassle of inconvenience and potential troubles that we could have gone through. There were a lot of rules and regulations in traveling in Egypt, including all the social que that other countries are not really aware of. Communication was one of the biggest issues we could have had if we went without a local guide. Having a guide like Sam was such a huge advantage of smooth sailing of this trip.

This was our general 8-9 days itinerary of this trip.
We started off at Cairo for 3 days then traveled down through Nile river for the next 4 nights and 5 days. Along the way, we made several stops to enjoy the activities, sight-seeing and temple tours. The last stop was at Abu Simbel/Aswan. Then we flew back to Cairo as the ending of the trip.

Sam, our guide did an AMAZING job.
He took a good care of us throughout this entire trip. Food, (some of the) lodging, transportation, and even legal issues have been assisted by Sam. All these made our trip so much more efficient and worth for every penny we spent for Egypt Eye Tour. Furthermore, I got sick during this trip. I got heat exhaustion during this travel, but thanks to Sam, he helped my husband to get to a local pharmacy to get the right medicine for my need.

On top of all these, we as content creators, got a lot of help from Sam for making our content and great photos as well. Let’s be honest, photos and videos are what we care the most besides the friendship we make along the way of the journey. Am I right? Yeah friendship rules. Anyway, please have Sam for the service you need from this trip. He is a passionate and caring guy who makes you feel safe and secure. All the best!

  What can I say? Sunday-Saturday, what an amazing experience. Sam made this trip extremely special for my (now) fiance and I. We started out in Cairo, then headed down to… read more Aswan by flight, drove down south to Abu-Simbel and then up north to Luxor. We concluded our trip by flying back to Cairo, taking a day trip to Alexandria, then soaking in all the local sights of Cairo on the last day. It was a whirlwhind, but so well managed by Sam. He structured it with the right amount of historical knowledge (without being overwhelming) and cultural/food experiences. He went above and beyond by helping me plan out my proposal, which we ended up doing on a sunset camel ride to the Pyramids of Giza — how cool is that?! He had great relationships no matter where we headed in Egypt and was always able to accommodate any need or small pivot to the plans we proposed (change of hotels, adding in a hot air balloon ride, setting up a boat ride along the Nile to a Nubian village, etc). I cannot recommend Sam/Egypt Eye Tours highly enough, I’ve already told everyone I’ve talked to the trip about, that I know who their tour guide should be, should they plan a trip to Egypt!
