  What can I say? Sunday-Saturday, what an amazing experience. Sam made this trip extremely special for my (now) fiance and I. We started out in Cairo, then headed down to… read more Aswan by flight, drove down south to Abu-Simbel and then up north to Luxor. We concluded our trip by flying back to Cairo, taking a day trip to Alexandria, then soaking in all the local sights of Cairo on the last day. It was a whirlwhind, but so well managed by Sam. He structured it with the right amount of historical knowledge (without being overwhelming) and cultural/food experiences. He went above and beyond by helping me plan out my proposal, which we ended up doing on a sunset camel ride to the Pyramids of Giza — how cool is that?! He had great relationships no matter where we headed in Egypt and was always able to accommodate any need or small pivot to the plans we proposed (change of hotels, adding in a hot air balloon ride, setting up a boat ride along the Nile to a Nubian village, etc). I cannot recommend Sam/Egypt Eye Tours highly enough, I’ve already told everyone I’ve talked to the trip about, that I know who their tour guide should be, should they plan a trip to Egypt!

Our group of 6 were treated to the Nile Dream tour and had an unparalleled journey back through time, guided along the way by our passionate, friendly and knowledgeable Egyptologists who really knew how to bring stories of ancient Egypt to life. Some of the most memorable events were the unscripted ones where Sam listened to our particular interests and adapted accordingly, whether it be a traditional breakfast with the locals, Egyptian pancakes at the market (I can not recommend these highly enough), or the optional (should be mandatory) meal in the Nubian village where we feasted in the company of our welcoming host in such a basically beautiful setting. Thanks Sam and the team for sharing your country and passion with us and giving us the trip of a lifetime.

I couldn’t wait to write a review for this company.… read more Although we usually don’t go on organized trips (we prefer solo) I wanted to get the best out of our short time in Egypt and booked with Egypt Eye Tour. Sameh was amazing from start to finish. Easy to contact via Mail and WhatsApp before the trip, very swift, flexible and kind in his replies. He picked us up from the airport late at night and being an (extremely skilled) Egyptologist he gave us the best tour we could ask for of the piramids of Zoser and the ones in Giza. On our last day he brought us to the Egyptian Museum in Caïro, the Khan El Khalili souq and the Coptic Hanging Church. He also took us to local restaurants to try out local cuisine. Our days with him were well organized, informative and fun. From Luxor to Aswan we went on a Nile Cruise with George as our guide. We saw lots of amazing temples in Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan and Abu Simbel. George is a very skilled guide and always ready to help. He also loves a good joke. All in all: choosing Egypt Eye Tour for an organized trip through Egypt is a decision you’ll never regret. My son and I highly recommend them! Visiting the pyramids, Sphinx, and temples were just… read more a small portion of what we accomplished in our short 2 week stay. We also visited many local shops and ate at the local restaurants. (So much better than the big restaurants). We Flew to Luxor and drove to Aswan to see the Valley of the Kings, Luxor Temple, Karnak Temple, and Abu Simbel!
The highlight of the trip was an overnight stay on a Felucca! (A sail boat the sails down the Nile.) From sleeping on the Nile to eating in a Nubian village, we did it all!
Sam made us all feel safe, with taking all the worry out of planning this trip of a lifetime.
